About my pieces
Each of my stoneware pieces is made entirely by hand. I start by throwing the clay on a pottery wheel. After the initial shaping, the pieces are fired in a bisque firing to give them their first level of strength and stability.
Once bisque-fired, I apply food-safe glazes that I’ve personally crafted. These glazes, whether snowflake-crackle or soft rustic tones, give each piece its unique finish after a second firing.
All of my glaze recipes are developed in-house, designed to produce fluid, dynamic effects. Due to the handcrafted process and the nature of the glazes, no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
About myself
I am a Bristol-based small-batch potter, with a passion for creating functional ceramics. When I'm not in the studio, I work as a science researcher.
I am resident studio member at "Terra Studio", in UK. If you would like to see my work up close, please feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to show you around my studio space and chat about my production process.
